While this may be a noble endeavor, like most of the U.N.s efforts it will prove to be totally useless and ineffective. Of course I will sleep better tonight knowing that 50 countries that can't develop nuclear weapons in the first place now vow not to. If the rest of the world still has access to nuclear weapons those 50 countries become at best bystanders and at worst victims. Bob

Yea, like anything the UN does is going to change human nature and our never ending quest to kill each other. It would make more sense to ban Muslim extremists across the globe then eradicate them like the pox they are.

You under estimate that order comes out of Chaos. Like the mind sink that was with gun control here fifty years ago.Let a few go off and we will get a United Nations unified effort to ban them. More than likely it will be small ones in a limited area like in the middle east.

    Who will enforce the ban?

The only ones with a "stick" big enough to enforce it are the ones that already have it (where does that sound familiar?).

Doggone it, quite using facts and asking the hard questions. The folks who did the U.N. resolution didn't use them or think through the ramifications of their feel good treaty, so why should we?🤔

What would happen if all the nuclear powers, except one, did a nuclear disarmament? Whoever that is would suddenly become the ruler of the world without a shot being fired. MAD has kept the wolves at bay for 70 years and I don't see a viable alternative on the horizon any time soon. Bob

While the UN officials are patting themselves on the back, the Iranians are busy in their little workshops...

Why are so many UFOs being reported near nuclear facilities—and why isn’t there more urgency on the part of the government to assess their potential national-security threat?

Those are questions being asked by a team of high-ranking former U.S. defense and intelligence officials, aerospace-industry veterans, academics and others associated with To the Stars Academy of Arts & Science. The team has been investigating a wide range of these sightings—and advocating more serious government attention.

Their investigations are the subject of HISTORY’s limited series “Unidentified.”

So you’re saying it’s too late to apply for a really destructive device tax stamp now?
