    Congrats!

My bride and I were planning to move back to MT for retirement in a few years. Now, we're concerned about how much longer it can remain a free state, what with all the democrat scum in high office. Will certainly be better than oregone though. At least for awhile. What part of the state did you buy in?

Thanks all! I appreciate all the well wishes. We'll be outside Kalispell a bit. Fishing, hunting, and downhill skiing right out the back door.

Just for clarification, it's my wife that's in law enforcement. She'll be calling it quits in mid July after almost 31 years. I'm so proud of her I can't hardly express it. I've been in construction the last 40 plus years, the last 3 1/2 as a flooring estimator.

Congratulations to your wife for her serving and surviving 31 years as a LEO...And for you supporting her...I did 37 years as a LEO and the wife has been the school district for 31+ years...Hoping she retires next year...Doing retirement solo is not the right way...Again...good luck on your journey... ๐Ÿ˜‰

We need an blow by blow accounting of the remodel.

Make it fun, after all youโ€™ll be retired ,,,,,,,, ๐Ÿ˜‰

There'll be pictures aplenty with a running commentary! We have a basic idea of what we want to do but getting from A to B while living in the house can present some challenges. It'll be fun!

Congrats on getting out of the rat race,

Remodeling can be a challenge. We did it just before we semi-retired (again) nothing was square, nothing was level, nothing was easy, but we have a custom home now. Will be looking forward to the blow by blow. Good luck.
