Heritage 22 single action
Bought one today for a huge price of 100 dollars. Took it out back and this thing shoots well and more accurate than expected. Been a long time since I have shot a single action revolver.

I think its a good gun for the money, I like it with the exception of the lever safety, I could get along without it. Could take it off, but I wont. Spend a couple of more bucks, and send for the Mag. cyl, its worth it.

Just leave the lever safety on off.. as if it didn't have one.

Yep, seen plenty of them at the range and yet to see one fail. I borrowed one and fired with a rest at 15 yards: 1" group and dead on. Can say the same about HiPoints. They go bang every time you pull the trigger.
For those on a budget, buy a Heritage or a HiPoint. You can buy either for half the price of a Taurus and they work.

My Cousin won a Heritage revolver at a benefit raffle. He went looking for a leather holster but came home empty handed. Said the holsters he found cost 3/4 as much as the gun was worth. I told him to come by and test fit some of the numerous hand-me-down holsters I have laying around but be prepared to settle for anything that fit(might not be leather).

have an old leather holster than fits my K-22 that will work fine and even has a piece to snap over the hammer

Best $100 you ever spent.
With a safety you can carry it cocked and locked, although it is kind of scary to see a cocked handgun in a holster, even a 1911.

Carrying a cocked pistol, with that little floppy lever your only safety , is about on the same level as shooting into water. Scary isnt the word for it. Its not too difficult to bump it off! Its probably there for a good reason but personally I dont like it. Confusing when you are used to all other revolvers without it. Its not a deal breaker, its still a darn good gun for the money.

All that safety is a a transfer bar. Not a big deal. The gun is a single action.. If one doesn't know how to operate one..go buy something else.
