Post op report
Same day surgery went well. Leg is braced at 30 degrees and doing OK. I'm getting the hang of perambulating on crutches. #1 sat and stared at me yesterday evening and spent the night. At least that is how it felt.
Aunt and uncle sat here with me today. First 24 hours I was not supposed to be left alone. Quietly sitting home alone at the moment except for the thunderstorms that have been moving through.
Have some good pain med that I am taking as prescribed. Pain is minimal. Mostly just tired of sitting still.
Surgeon was able to lasso the hamstring and get it screwed and stapled into place with no issues. Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes.

Very happy to hear the surgery went well. now just follow orders and let it heal correctly. Better to be bored and healthy for a little while than to try to do too much and mess it up.
