I've never been much of a fan of them.

    They are great!

You should try one in Aug at Ft Polk LA. The heat the smell the fly's all come together in a mixture that is unbelievable unless experienced first hand. The True unsung hero is the guy who services them.

For about $12 you can buy a packate of purple pods that you throw in the toilet, they deoderize, desolve solids, deter bugs, and make the john tolerable.

    Nice driveway @mogley98 .

Its not so much I enjoy it its about the experience. Its like sky diving or scuba diving in a cave or shooting a human. You have to experience it to appreciate it it cannot be read about.

Hope the driveway topping gives you many years of zero maintenance Bill!

Everyone liked talking about the porta john but I sure do like your Quonset hut! My wife's dad had one on his farm and it was made into a super cool wood shop.

Bet it is a home make hut.

Looks like greenhouse hoops with metal wall panels fastened to it.

It will look great until the first 4" downpour.

Good eye Butchdog Quonset hut is indeed exactly that Greenhouse hoops with metal roofing panels, wife calls it our shotgun house, mostly used for storage. Porta potty is for CWP students keeps them out of the house. House is about a hundred and fifty yards or more away from what we call the "farm" area.

Most of that drive was decent in the heavy rains but a small section turned into a mud pit so hopefully that is resolved. Dog hates the new driveway rough on his little feet.

I was in that same one once, but they had moved it, apparently uncleaned, to Joshua Tree National Park in 29 Palms. There was a "Welcome Mr. Perfect" sign on the door.

Be prepared to hit the lowest wettest areas again with another layer in a year or two.

I'm about to get two triaxle dump truck loads of gravel delivered to our shed area in the pasture. We've got to get the "dirt guy" to come out and fix up an actual driveway with ditches and such first. We've been driving through the field for a long time without any issues, but its getting more and more traffic, so I've got to get it done. We moved the box storage area to the field and Larry has been building a shed area onto the pump house where he keeps the lawn mower. It seems the older we get the more space we use....which is the opposite of what I had planned. I thought I'd get to retire, move to a small place, no lawn, no stairs, just enough room for "us" but at this rate we are going to need a plantation of some kind for all of our crap.
