The last time I saw a pheasant it was walking beside Sunrise Hwy. on Long Island in 1968. I assume it tastes like chicken so fry that baby up.

Brown them in a pan with butter, salt pepper and flour, then into the crock pot with cream of mushroom soup.

    I'm Hungry now.

Quartered, over a bed of Rice A Roni, (Wild Grain mix) in a Pyrex baking dish. Little bit (4 tabs) of butter under the Rice A Roni mix. Salt and Pepper over the top of the Bird, tad bit of Cajun Spice. drizzle with Extra Virgin Olive oil. (EVOO) Bonus, put a layer of fresh Asparagus under the Bird, and a couple very very fine diced 2-3 cloves of fresh Garlic, scattered overall.

375Β° for 45 minutes, in the oven.

Would probably tuck a few quartered Onions around the Bird.

    Todd's sounds good also.

Patted with butter and slow cooked on grill or oven.

Or, you could just drop them by the house Chas and I'll take care of them myself. πŸ˜‰

Cubed up, and cooked in a scrambled egg dish.

It's not to be confused with quiche...

Check you tube for coq-au-vin. It's not as French or complicated as it sounds. And the one I saw used bacon.

No matter how you cook it, serve it under glass and be sure to extend your pinky finger high in the air as you dine! 😁

Thanks for all the recipes. We have 4 pheasants to cook so we will mix them up. All ready cooked some of the smaller birds. I need to do a better job cleaning them. Found 5 pieces of shot in one plate.
