anybody close to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL
I'm looking at an auction - no FB, 1 pic with the GB disclaimer on "have you seen this listed else where etc., etc." don't trust it but I have went back and forth with him through GB's messaging system. he seems on the up and up. what is the best way to proceed if I decide to take a chance? I know someone here knows more than me on these kinds of things. thanks.

Ask him to send a pic of the gun next to his computer monitor with your email communication in the background with the gun at a different angle than what is shown.
I would be REALLY hesitant in the present climate. If it seems too good to be true...

The only one close to that area is “Brownie “ and I haven’t heard from him in a year or so. Hope he is doing ok.

If you see that warning it probably means someone else already reported it as a duplicate listing. Might want to tread carefully.
Especially with a non rated seller. Fraud is rampant in these times.

Ask him to send you a scan of his drivers license & auto registration as an attachment to an email. His response should tell you all you need to know.
