today is my Birthday . 😎
64 yrs ago in Tennessee . I came into the world .
seems to have lost some of that special day feelings however I do get to say I am having one . which is always a good thing . and I can truly say I would have taken bets I would have never made it this far
but the aches and pains and scars I have as reminders due to the days I scrapped thru 🙄

Hey D-R, today is the day for something big. Who cares what it is, make it memorable.
We all forget, we get to spend this day ONE time. So what will you trade it for? Just another damn day? Or are you gonna trade the next 24 hours for something worth it? This day can be just a checkmark on a calendar, or it can be something you look back on and tell stories about to your grandkids and drinking buddies, and pee your pants laughing about it.
When was the last time you threw a knife or axe and it stuck in a tree? Is the ice melted off the pond? Go for a swim and freeze your nuts off. How's your fly fishing technique? Get out in the yard and do some. Go to a coffee drive-through and pay for your drink, and the guy in back of you, and burn rubber before he figures it out. Get out your guitar and play a song for your dog. Make it a sad song this one time. Go for a bike ride, climb a mountain, sit up all night and count satellites. You get today ONE time. What's that worth to you?

thanks all for the thoughts .
nothing exciting just a nice day one of the few we had this year so did a little yard clean up after the high winds a couple nights ago , my wife ,our dogs and I walked around the back yard for a while letting the dogs have fun .

I am sure I am not the only one even on here when I was much younger , I thought 40 was over the hill and 50 just put a fork in it and 60 OMG just find a nice plot over looking the river ..
I noticed every decade my feelings of old seemed to keep advancing as I did , well 40 so what 50 no problem ok 60 its the new 40 😁 age seems to change our perspective on what's old for sure my brain seems still stuck at about 25 maybe 30 years old however my body well not so much it goes on strike and protest a lot any more when given direction 😯
