  They are sweet, but I can’t learn to run & gun with the goofy location of the mag release on those.

  You bet they are sweet. I have a USP 45 and I got used to the mag release but it isn't intuitive.

  I love the paddle mag release. I always thought the Elite was kind of goofy looking. I had one of the regular target models a few years back and it would shoot some tight 25 yard groups.

  Been there, done that re bidding. I recall going to a farm auction many years ago to look at an over-under combo gun I really wanted. In my head I had set a top price I would pay. The bidding started about $50 above my top price.😮
