Stuff on the nightstand.....the older you get....the bigger that pile gets

My desk is beside my bed so my "night stand" is the folding chair I use at the desk turned around with the back to the desk. On the seat of the chair are 3 items: Ruger P95, high lumen SD flashlight, and small pocket flashlight for bathroom trips--nothing else. I wouldn't want anything else that might get in the way.

    sure seems that way

I have a bottle of water, a clock ( silly as I do not care what time it any more ) a laptop I use to find some back ground music or sounds so I can sleep and a desk lamp of course a flash light .. almost forgot my bump in the night just in case 45

I would find myself spilling a glass of water on my night stand if I kept one there. 🙂 As long as I have to get up to pee anyway, I mine as well just go to the kitchen for a drink.

I think a problem many of us have: A flat surface MUST covered. It matters not, covered in what, it must be covered, so the flat surface cannot be seen. 😂

You guys.....I just ordered a stand that will hold my Ipad so I can listen to this person as I fall asleep.

Its insane what this does to me. Its like I've been trapped once it gets going. I could be lured into a sketchy van so easily if they just played this mess right here over the radio.

    Mine has a painting I don't understand and a small sculpture I don't understand.

When I go to bed, it gains a pair of glasses, a glass of water and my phone.

In the morning, it is down to just the painting, sculpture and my phone, as I have usually knocked the glasses and glass of water to the floor shutting off the alarm on my phone

I keep my water bottle on the computer desk. It is a frequent visit all night long as I have to pee 2-3 times a night then getting a snort or water to wet my whistle. My bed side table has my phone, a temp/humidity calendar thing but little else except for a maglight, a Kindle and my reading spectacles.

You're a Legend on Gunbroker, remember you from 10-12 years ago. You could write a book and people would buy it. Almost like a cult following! 😁

I woke up in the middle of the night and wanted a sip of water.....when I put my hand over toward the side of the bed I realized just how ridiculous that area has gotten. The humidifier, the face lotion, Advil PM, my Ipad, the phone, a basket of word puzzles, a mix of remotes (I need two of them, but cannot toss the others in fear I will figure out what they go to someday) and a couple big glasses of water....one from who knows when and one I brought to bed with me.

I remember when I put this little table beside my bed. I thought it was too big and I needed to find something smaller to put there, but it was available when the room was rearranged and I've just left it there. Now I think its not big enough!

The boxes-----did you find the boxes?
