They can't come out and Tax the individual across the board unless it's hidden so any luxury goods bought will probably get a surtax like on a boat or RV coach and on ammo with firearms for sure!

So if Mr. Biden is serious about his emissions targets, a carbon price may become harder to avoid. His administration is already considering taxing imports for their carbon content. Without a similar levy on domestically-made goods, the U.S. could face retaliation from trading partners. He also plans to raise taxes, in part to pay for a big boost to the child tax credit, which slashes child poverty. If he wants a tax that helps the poor, defrays the deficit and combats climate change, there is one waiting in the wings.

Always amazed me the ignorance of the DEMOCRAT voter.
DEMOCRATs want to tax, tax, tax. Its always corporations, the rich, carbon, banks, tobacco, alcohol, and anything that produces energy in their tax crazed crosshairs. The ignorant really "feel good" about sticking it these people.
Then voters whine and bellyache because they cant get something they need and costs of just about everything has gone up. Next comes the layoffs and stagflation. The crux of their ignorance lies in the fact they fail to understand it is the taxation that brings about all the malaise. Economic fact of life: Taxes ALWAYS trickle down. The power to tax is the power to destroy.
