Scammers
I am shocked that GunBroker now has scammers. People posting guns for sale, will collect a payment, and never deliver.

Does GunBroker protect the buyer if a payment is made and nothing is delivered?

Did you use PayPal? Take it up with them.

Looking at his completed listings the first thing I notice is that every gun listed has a different background, that's a big give away.

That sounds like another Member we all remember, that got Banned 1st from here, and then from another similar Forum, a couple weeks ago, for the very same thing he was doing here. A few of us were PM'ing each other behind the scenes incredulous. He got called out and feigned ignorance, piety and played the Martyr, to no avail.
I understand, like here, he was given several warnings, that apparently went unheaded. Gone now, from yet another site. His own doing.
Myself and another Member, from both Forums, started PM'ing each other almost immediately noticing all the various backgrounds and picture quality, even though "I just finished photographing this collection in a basement with my Cell phone." "What do you think?"
Really? I don't think so Skippy.

GB is a go-between a buyer and a seller, just like any other auction. If you got ripped off as a seller or buyer please contact GB through the Support tab on the auction side. NOBODY here can help you with Auction issues.
HAVE PATIENCE, they are overloaded right now. If you suspect fraud in a listing the correct course of action is to LET SUPPORT KNOW in a short, clear and concise manner indicating the auction number, what your concerns or observations are and DO NOT send the same thing more than once.
A couple of fraud bidders were exposed here. The person reporting here sent what he had to SUPPORT. They hammered the bad guys and the world kept on turning.
If you use paypal for ANYTHING you are setting yourself up for a disaster, especially if it is gun stuff.

Do they post such a status that they're overloaded or is that speculation? My first auction here was a scam and I'm not getting a reply to questions.

Well, instead of complaining. Bring a solution forward.
