It's a High Standard, good shotguns.

Sears stopped using the J.C Higgins name in the early 60's. Which makes your prospective buy is almost old enough to collect Social Security. In light of that and it's being a semi-auto. I wouldn't be forking over any greenbacks, unless I could test fire it.
Don't know your situation? But most folks are buying shotguns nowadays, because of the bad stuff that is happening in our country. If your J.C. Higgins isn't functional? Not going to do you a bit of good. If you need it for a shtf situation.
