Rem. 541-T

Had one of the grandkids out at the range shooting my old (bought 25+ years ago, still in A1 shape) Rem. 541-T. It has a Lupold VIII 6.5-20X40 scope on it, a real tack driver with one of those curley maple stocks. Had a guy come up to us and said if I ever wanted to sell it he'd give me $2,600 for it!!! I think I probably have less than $1,000 into it. Is this type of value in the wood or what? Thanks

  All the above. They have a following as does the 541S. IF it was me I would take the 26, but that's me.🤐 They are excellent shooters, some of the best out of box Remington made. I prefer the S but that's me.
