Couple weeks away here.
Went out this morning to do some odds and ends, stepped off the porch before looking around in the yard, yikes, turkeys aplenty, 20 plus, and at least half were toms and several of them were strutting with blue heads and red waddles.
They made haste headed to the woods.

Ours ,NC , opens April. 11 . Already seeing them drumming and strutting in the fields saw 28 on the way home from the hospital on Thursday
