Henry 45-70 Brass with side gate......Fraud, Collusion?
I have been trying to purchase a Henry for about a year now with no such luck. It appears there are abundant quantities here on GB, in fact Henry has even suggested GB as a source. I have bid on several auctions and I can now see the glaring difference between legitimate dealers and those just fishing for higher pricing/profits with installed bidders artificially inflating the auction.
A previous auction is why I am writing this post, although I did not save any screen shots I know the dealer and will post the details here as I see them.
Here is an example of a suspicious auction. Item *******, with No Reserve and the one and only bid is $1,465.00 and there is a 3% Credit Card fee. You may ask why does this look suspicious? Because there are Buy Now Henry's available for much less and No Credit Card fees. Item ****** is offered for $1229.00 and Item ******* is offered for $1199.00. I call this suspicious because there may have been a mistake in the bid and I am not privy to the details but GB should look at this.
You may ask why am I pointing this out? Because I am a legitimate and serious purchaser and I believe that GB as well as all purchasers and sellers should condemn any criminal activity that corrupts the legitimacy of a fair auction.

If you were a legitimate and serious purchaser you would have one by now. There have been dozens of them sold on GB in the last year.

Send your suspicions to GB customer service. The auction listings in your post have been removed. #2 on the list of forum guidelines explains why.
