Surgery Tomorrow, 3-17-2021 UPDATE 3-24-2021
Dual surgery scheduled for early tomorrow. Hernia repair and prostate LASER zap. I'm a little nervous, no, a LOT nervous, so any kind thoughts or prayers are appreciated.
I came home today. Stiff and sore. The prostate surgery was the small one. If we weren't also doing a ventral hernial repair,, it would have been day surgery. Big midline abdominal incision has to heal up. It'll take some time.

Were the dogs happy to have you home, Mr. Nunn?
When I spent 5 days in the hospital 7 years ago for a knee infection. When I came home one of the hardest parts was keeping the dogs off of me. They 'bout went nuts when I walked in the house. A five gallon bucket with the bottom cut out and placed around my knee solved the problem.

Dogs are funny. I can be gone half a day, and when I return, they behave as if I've been away for a year. This time, I was gone a week, and they were glad to see me, but they weren't silly about it.

I've found them to be incredibly intuitive animals. That could probably tell you were out of sorts and were takin' it easy on you.

had the abdominal incisions, not fun
work up VERY CAREFULLY at lifting things... dont ask how i know about over doing it 😞
