Saw my first 'new' Bronco yesterday. Yuck!

That is what I thought too, Yuck.

It looks just like all the other crossovers out there. GM really had a chance to make something stand out and pay homage to the past like the Camaro or the Dodge Challenger and the Ford Mustang. New but at the same time old.

They missed the mark by a mile.

Have you seen the new Ford Mustang ?

GT has impressive numbers on paper, but you have to find a windmill to plug into every couple hundred miles.

I saw one this morning as well and it looked just like the one pictured. Todays SUV's, no matter what the manufacturers are calling them, all look alike to me. My wife says they look like shoes with wheels. 🙂 I just smile when she calls them that. Learned a very long time ago to never make fun of anything that is said by a Sicilian!

The " box on wheels" look seems to be history. I call the new style turd shaped.

I miss my 72' IH Scout II.

You could hear it rust, just sitting there, (but) mechanically - it was a beast. Mine was also modified. (Headers, Custom frame over exhaust, 4 barrel on the 302, lifted, Kelly Safari Tires, etc.)

Traded a 74' Z-28 for it. Ended up driving it cross country and back, to my after Basic Training post, in Lowry AFB, (Denver) CO. (All Services went there for Military Photographer MOS.)

They do not make them like that anymore.

Had a rear window side mounted gun rack. Kept my Win. 94 .30 .30 and random .22 semi-autos in it. (Marlin mdl. 60 etc.) Back when that was Okay, (even at HS) and not a guaranteed break in.

Another silly little station wagon with the same mechanical problems as the rest. I think my 1999 Chevy van is a much better vehicle.

The flatter the sides, the more it's meant to offroad.

I remember when Chevy announced they were going to make the Malibu again. In my mind I thought hot rod Chevelle. It turned out to be a run of the mill front wheel drive grandma-mobile.
