Indiana was a holdout for a long time. I moved to Indy in '62 and it came up every year in the state gov and finally they caved. Considering what is happening to our country, why was this such an issue for decades? Look, the cows and pigs can't tell time. We humans can adapt to the change of sunrise & sunset times! I inherited a couple of 100+ year old clocks from my grandparents. I don't touch those hands twice a year just to keep up with the gov rules.

    End of jeff's bit****g.

    🤔

We should bump ahead 1/2 hour and then stop fiddlin' with it.

Personally, I will still sleep when I am tired and get up when I'm not. Being retired has its advantages.

All of this complaining about nothing. Haven't you ever gone on a trip to a different time zone? Did you stay on your home time or adapt to the time zone you traveled to? I just changed the few clocks that needed changing and it must have taken all of 5 minutes. Bob

Since the tether placement, I'm no longer allowed to travel out of Michigan. 🤡

Changing a clock is hardly the point. I don't like changing my life for idiotic and outdated pandering.

That's what you get when you try to smuggle pastys out of the U.P. across state lines. Da youpers culinary magnificence can only be consumed in Michigan, don't cha know.😀

And yes, daylight savings time is an outdated and impractical concept. With all of the other, I believe more serious, things going on in our lives today it doesn't even rank in the top 10. I can't do any thing about it so don't let it bother me. Bob

It really doesn't bother me either, other than learning how to reset my watch and the clock in my truck every damn time.

I finally gave up on the electronic changeovers and just reset the analog stuff in the house.

Tomorrow the truck clock will be good until fall. 😁

The government can change your life twice a year. There is no reason for it we all dance at the end of the string.

what if we were to do 15 minutes every weekend instead of the whole hour in one night?

why isnt there ever a discussion on changing time zones? cause no one has to change clocks?
