I saw a new Ford Bronco
A few days ago in town. I got a good look as we were both going in the same direction and traffic was light. Very disappointing in my opinion, I was expecting more after all the hype, and this was just a small black station wagon. Maybe they come alive with larger tires and stuff but I doubt it. They look a lot better in the photos.

You hit it when you referenced "the hype".......they are trying to recycle a brand name with a POS that will never meet the corporate expectations as far as consumers go.

I have an 88 bronco 2. I like it, solid 4x4. I would LOVE an older 77 before, TOTALLY different beast all together. That being said, my 88 has power doors and power locks, ac, etc and cost me $1,250 a few years ago. Needed brakes, tires, battery and that's it. A 66 in the same condition would be closer to 35 to 40K! So, I'm happy with what I have, I just KNOW they are not even comparable. The new ones look GREAT in photos, not see one up close. Again, not the same as the Original but I'd love to have one.

i believe you can order them now but I thought none were being delivered for another couple of months. Did your friend receive a date of delivery yet?

Reserve now to secure your Bronco. Beginning in January 2021, you will be able to convert your reservation to an order with your preferred Ford Dealer.
In May 2021, your Ford Dealer will be able to provide an approximate date for the delivery of your Bronco. Initial Bronco 2 and 4-door deliveries are targeted to begin in summer 2021.
Due to the high number of Bronco 2 and 4-door reservations, deliveries will extend into the 2022 calendar year. Some customers will receive a 2022 Bronco.

Judy and I have had a half dozen or so Blazers over the years because of her job as a rural mail carrier. She would drive one on route for a couple of years and then I would drive it to work a couple more. I was happy to see they were going to bring back the Blazer until I found out it was just my Acadia with some different sheet metal. I really like my Acadia but it ain't what I consider a workhorse like the original Blazers. Oh well, I guess I am not in the group they are marketing the Blazer for. Bob

She already has it. I believe she got it a couple weeks ago. I've seen photos. Never mind... I just checked the photos she sent me. It is a sport. Ooops.
