Remington CDL 264 win mag question

This item was a special run back in 06 from Big rock sports. It came in stainless fluted and blued version. Does anyone know how many were produced of each? It is my understanding that there were 2 runs. The first run sold out and a second run was ordered. I heard estimates as low as 75 of each. I talked to a Remington suit at the Great American sportsman's show in Harrisburg Pa. and he said that Remington wouldn't tool up for less than 1,000 units. I find this hard to believe considering all they would need to do is change the bore drill. Anybody have any REAL numbers?
