Here's and example of a used gun you could cut the barrel down on to make it a shorter house gun.

Definitely some good buys there. (Had to remind myself, I am in Sell mode, not Buy mode.)

(Killing me on mine.) What happened to the market?

Mine is $200 less than last time, at the same time frame. (NPB)

I have to remind myself too. Even at that I put several on my watch list.

What do you think about the "Turkish Clone" 20ga's that were just posted? (Same link.) Really inexpensive.

My last Semi Auto was from (probably) the same Co. It was a Radikal SA1 12ga. Very nice, built like a tank, and beautiful Turkish Burl Walnut stock.

I am very tempted to grab one, for a lives outside the Safe gun. Thoughts?

@... I don't jack about them so I have steered clear.

I understand there is a lot of variance in the Turkey made guns but I'm not up on it all. I have a Weatherby 28g semi-auto that was made in Turkey and I like it a lot. In the listings I seen some Turkish made Dickinson marine pump guns that looked pretty good. My preference is an Ithaca or an 870 but there are a lot of good pump guns made. Some of the old High Standards shoot really well as do some others.

    Buy the Mavericks. Good shotguns.

By the way, Western Field guns were not sold by Sears. That was a Montgomery Ward brand. Sears used J C Higgins and later Ted Williams.

I agree with the Mavericks. Lot a shotgun for the price.

Threw a lowball (still high bidder) offer on one of the inexpensive 20ga Turkish clones for giggles.

I woke up this am, saying to myself "you idiot." Checked it just a bit ago. It went for $195. Outbid by $20 Whew!!

guy that I work with just recently bought a Rock Island Armory All Generations 20 ga the only 20 ga pump he could find that someone had in stock right now. After taxes he got it for just a little over 200.00. I went shooting with him last week and it actually shot good not a very good looking gun but functioned good
