Amen. Grandpa's cough medicine, sleeping medicine, and takes all those bad feelings, and pushes them way down deep.

It's that time of year, drinking my dinner again.

The outside temperature has dropped down to 75F. I can feel a chill in the air which only a dose of Wild Turkey 101- taken purely for medicinal purposes, can ward off.

I enjoy drinking. I like Scotch, and I especially like bourbon and rye. Even so, I recognize that we have members who struggle with alcohol addiction. All of us have weaknesses (I have my own) , so I assure you that I do not discount those among us who cannot drink.

    Mark,

Those of us who can't (don't) drink don't give a rat's patoot about those who do. IF WE DO........then that is OUR problem......not yours!

Merc, I have a good friend who had been in recovery for about three years and when I ask him about us guys talking bourbon around him he gave me about the same answer as yours.

I drank bourbon every day for 20 years and developed an abscess in my liver. Quit drinking that day even though the Dr. said that wasn't the cause. It has been 12 years. You gentlemen carry on no harm done.

It reminds me much more of Yellow Ledbetter... than Even Flow at the least. :/ Either way just as intelligible as Vedder.
