Another long time Gun Broker Forum member has passed......Doc, will be missed.
From Facebook....
My wonderful, beautiful husband of 29 years passed away last night. He died of pancreatic cancer. My heart is broken. Thank you to everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers. If you have any special memories of Al (or Frank as you may have known him) feel free to send them to me at sherrillatimer@gmail.com. (I rarely look at FB so a posting here will probably go unread.) He will be missed but never forgotten.

I loved Saxon Pig's contributions to this forum. A great guy who I will miss dearly. I hope and pray his family can find comfort at this time and I am also glad he's no longer suffering from such a horrible disease. Thank you for sharing this LF.

This hit me like a ton of bricks this morning. I always thought high of Frank, and enjoyed reading his post both here & on FB. I gave Doc one of my hand made Holster's for one of his SAA's a few years ago, and he wanted to think me personally if I ever came his way. I did, but was too busy to stop. For that I will forever regret having not taken the chance to meet with him in person. His love for Amber showed through when he spoke of her. My thoughts & prayers this morning will be for her & the family, may God bless them, and be with them & all things they do.
Did any one ever read his book? We enjoyed talking to each other about his 77-Harley Superglide that he had owned since new. He recently had a lot of work done to it, and was looking forward to riding it again.
You will be missed Sir, and are welcome to frequent our memories at anytime.
RIP Doc.

I always loved the pictures of his collection and his script with the model number etc..
it does bring back a funny memory, remember when Doc moved and had all the ammo on the shelf and dam if the whole thing didn’t fall down. It was like a horror film blended with a comedy thinking about Doc crawling around that new garage floor rounding up all that ammo...
may the ammo on your shelf be plenty, and the aim be perfect up there Doc

Wow, just logged on today after taking some time off (maybe a couple years) and saw this. I really enjoyed his posts, and admired his S&W collection.
