wonder where they got the money........

don't know if anyone else has noticed but almost all the recruitment commercials on TV for the last few months have been for the Marine corps. Now I know when I was in, we were the " redheaded stepchild " of the services, we got used junk from the other branches instead of new and were allways on a tight budget. Now there is a commercial on TV every 15 minutes, not that there is anything wrong with that, just got to wondering why only the Marines are advertising......

    I've seen Navy and Air Force ads quite recently but don't recall seeing any for the Army or Marines.

    Yeah the only ads I see are Ambulance chasers and Insurance companies!

    Without some sort of tort reform the Lawyers will keep feeding on the insurance companies who will keep raising home owners, business liability and auto rates

    No branches of the military are advertising around here presently. I did notice that USAA insurance company has taken over the air\land waves here for the last couple of weeks though. I posted a question on the Vets forum regarding this a while ago but not too many go there.

    I just saw a billboard two days ago for Marine recruiting down on I 10 in Mississippi. Featured a good looking blonde female in her Marine uniform.

    Her makeup was impeccable, really nice eyebrows and good lipstick and mascara. The Marine Corps of 2021.
