When you block a bidder what do they see when they try to bid?

I assume if they try to bid on an item from which they have been blocked they will received a message from GB stating they have in fact been blocked.

How do you decide which dead beats get blocked? Do you search them out?

I check the feedback and if it sucks then I send them straight to Block City.

You do understand these are just folks who are bidding on my items. I don't scour GB looking for people to block.

Just curious, can you block someone who is currently the high bidder or can you only block someone once they have been outbid?

If I make a bid on one of your items, feel free to block everyone else. At the prices you are getting, that would be the only way I could win.😀 Bob

Maybe some of the bigger sellers here on the forum could auction off some "special" items that end on, maybe Tuesday, around noon or so? That way we could go check our lucky number cards at the local retailers in the morning, and still get the 10% Tuesday discount here on GB if we win the auction????

Do you mention that you will block bidders, depending on their feedback rating in your auction descriptions?

On another site I have more than that blocked. I have learned if they ask a stupid question they get the block, cause if they are stupid to start with just wait until they buy your item. I would rather take less than deal with a idiot. I went round and round with a idiot not long ago as the rules favor the bidder, so if I find out you are an idiot up front you can move along. Non paying bidders are not as bad as an idiot IMO, you can just relist your item.

I get very tired of having to tell the folks who trust me that yes your gun sold two weeks ago but I am going to have to start the entire process again due to the fact the winner won't pay for the item. It is much worse the last year or so, and I have taken to looking at the rating assigned by GB to the people bidding on my guns. If I see someone like yesterday with a "B9" and I look and see that the last two auctions he has won he has not paid and in fact according to the comments left by those two sellers, would not even communicate with them, then I consider it part of my job to block the damn creeps. Oh, and if that hurts someone's feelings, that's a good thing. They are a nuisance and their parents should have taught them better.

Was wondering, did you block people from sending you their guns to sell too?

    Why would you ask that??

We all work together here.....we are great friends and we all help each other all we can. I ended up having some of my people in the area, so it was convenient to pick up some things on a trip we were making. Its not that anyone was picking a person over another one to do the work....its just how things lined up that made that happen. Ricci does a great job and people appreciate it.
