What the heck?
Tell me what you see when you look at this auction.
Is it what it appears to be?

I would say the machine operator was hungover.

Yep, I'd say so. No idea why anyone would do that though.......

I think I would be contacting Accurate Ammunition, for an exchange/reimbursment for defective (incomplete) ammunition.
Never seen anything like that. Makes you wonder about their QC.

Seller probably acquired some factory rejects. Brass and bullets are worth something I guess.

Definitely an odd listing.

500 of 'em?

I guess someone with plenty of time on hand could pour some fine ball powder thru the primer hole and prime with a hand primer tool. Interesting there are 4 bids and the price still reflects as a penny.

He raised his maximum bid three times but until someone else bids, the standing bid is $.01.

I'm half tempted to throw a bid at it, might get some cheap bullets. I could pop 'em out during down time.

I wonder how easy they would come out being crimped?

That one standing on the box didn't look crimped to me.

Doesn't look crimped to me either. Maybe just an easier way to package the components, no hazmat & can to ship usps.

Drill the flash hole out, and fill 'em up with powder..😜

That is good libtard approved ammo. Send it to BLM for use in riots.

To me the brass has been fired at least once...take a close look at the primer pockets...

Reloading supplies... Pull the bullets, size it and go from there. Might be a deal.

Congratulations, Toolman.

Yes Jim, we did good.

Tell us how it goes with those, Toolman!
I just couldn't talk myself into putting a bid on it.

OK, already quick communication with the seller. I have dies, powder & primers.

Buyer got a deal $ 42.55 / 500 bullets and brass

Looks like bullet prices are all over the place right now but I find many selling at $.30 to $.50 each.
So for 500, $150 to $250. Plus the brass has some value but I didn't look it up. Seems like a good buy if you have time to pull bullets.

Thanks for your comments & Neo for posting it. I don't think they're crimped. If they don't drop out easily, I have time, a kinetic hammer & don't have to worry about spilling any powder.

Go ahead and crimp 'em and then carefully stuff powder through the flash holes and prime.
You'll have them all loaded up and ready to shoot by 2031!
Edit to add;
Just in case someone is reading this and thinks what I've said above is a good idea, it's not!
NEVER try to prime cases with powder in them!

A few years ago I got some 'remanufactured' .40 S&W from a seller here for a pretty cheap price. I saw why when I got it; a few of the rounds had powder but no primer! So I got the Rock Chucker ready and was about to seat a new primer when I suddenly stopped and thought about what I was doing!
I don't think I have ever had a primer fire when being seated but the first time could have been the last time!

Received these today. Yes, all in good condition. Yes, the bullets are crimped in. Yes, a few wacks with the kinetic hammer solves that. No, I don't know why they were loaded this way. No, I don't care to know why. Yes, it was a good deal.

Heck yeah happy ending. Cool.

I'm glad that worked out for you, Toolman!
How many bullets have you pulled so far?
0 -
Only 499 to go.
