...he was affiliated with terrorists, no loss. It would be interesting to see what info the Saudis got out of him before he became room temperature. (...and chopped into pieces as I recall.)

The guy was killed in 2018. Why is his name still on anyone's lips?

who cares?..............SAUDI ARABIA.....................aka r@gh%3ds...............that we need to leave alone to sort out their own problems.

It is a matter of religion.............recognize it or not. Islam v Christianity. If you are devout for either one..........you are directed in life.

Well in the news not the political garbage we get here in the US the Biden Admin and other country's leaders are really putting the screws to the new King because he ordered the job done.

The story in online in many US news reports but I like this news outlet:

‘Hold MBS accountable’: World reacts to US Khashoggi report
Calls for ‘accountability’ grow as US report finds Khashoggi killed by Saudi hit squad operating under command of MBS.

They are a little slanted sometimes but believe it or not they have better WORLD news than most US news outlets.

Not often I agree with posters here but same thing I have been wondering. Worked here, angered his leaders, went back and got what they felt he deserved. He did it to himself. Why should we care.

Yeah, like when 6,000,000 got what Hitler thought they deserved. Just internal politics right?

He did not "go back and got what they felt he deserved........" he was killed and dismembered in the Saudi embassy here in the US.

    Istanbul is in the US?

He was killed in the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul. I believe that is still in Turkey. He was playing with fire, and while he did not deserve to get burnt, it does happen.

The Saudi's have one of the most brutal Intel organizations in the world. Jordan is another country you don't want to PO.

    It's Istanbul, not Constantinople.

Why did Constantinople get the works?

That's nobody's business but the Turks!

Trusting despots to render what they think you deserve is a very slippery slope indeed. Even trusting democracies is difficult enough.

Enough! Let's all try a little harder to keep this train on the tracks.

Saudis don't play. You want to leave the country and go to New York and start writing articles critical of the king, Watch Out!!

Good God, lured him into the embassy, tortured him, cut him up and put the parts in suitcases and flew him out of the country. They really are savages stuck in the 8th century.

I don't know what trick they lured to get this guy to go into the embassy but I wonder just what was he thinking. He must have been hanging around New York libs too much, and he believed in "Peace, Love, Flowers and Incense."

He is luck he didn't get taken alive to SA. They would have beat the crap out of him then cut his head off in public.

OK.........my mistake about the location. But he didn't go back to Saudi.

    We should not get involved.

What is the difference between this killing and us using a drone to blow some rag head up? The US has targeted people 2,500 times with drone strikes.

To be fair, the Saudis gave him fair warning a couple of times! Biden "releasing" the intel is simply a stunt. He's impotent against the Saudis and will do nothing in retaliation!

  • allen griggs

Yes, it is interesting that Biden releases this report condemning the Saudis, but says nothing personally against the Crown Prince. You know he ordered this hit. You know it, and Biden knows it.

It's a tightwire act keeping oil trading on the US dollar. The Saudi's are instrumental.

Every president for the last 30 years could have cut off Saudi Arabia for human rights violations, but they didn't. They spend billions buying military hardware from us, & no one is willing to bankrupt thousands of US companies. They buy fighter jets & anti-missile systems, because several of their neighbors would overrun them if they thought that they could get away with it. The politicians tell us that we need Saudi oil, but that is a lie; it's all about money.
