I was in Augusta ga about 25 years ago in parts of town I probably should have not been in . I can sure see how a man could get in a situation where a smith would be good

I watched McGarrett on Hawaii 50 shoot a guy 200 yards away with one of those and he hit him in the shoulder. Then an hour later Cannon shoots another guy bad guy who was an easy 150 yards away with one.

    A few questions:

    1) Can I ship this gun to California?

    2) Does it have a box?

    3) what is the round count?

    4) Does it take Glock mags?

...quite the marksmen weren't they? Broderick Crawford does the same thing in about every rerun of the old "Highway Patrol" shows. Heck, I've even seen him bring a guy on the run down while firing a  2" Colt from a helicopter!

Yep and Joe Mannix killed more people than polio with one. I think the only people on TV who have killed and beat up more people than Joe Mannix are those 3 idiots on NCIS.

I remember watching MCGarrett shoot a guy about 200-250 yds away with one and the guy was blasting away at him with a M1 Carbine that a scope on it so it must have been a sniper rifle right?

But seriously those are great revolvers. 6 shots, all steel, great blueing and beautiful grips and it come with a great holster too. Slip is 6, 38 special 158gr lead round nose death pills and you are good to go!

I would imagine it's been several decades since I have seen "Highway Patrol" but I do recall one where he mentioned the range was too great for his short barreled pistol. There was also one show where they had a motorcycle officer get high on I think speed so that he could avoid things that the bad guys were throwing out the back of their vehicle. Bet they couldn't do a show like that now.

It’s on METV at 0500 M-F. When I was way younger, I recall how serious I thought the show was. Now days, all these years later, the acting and scenarios seem more comedic than anything. Old BC just looks like he’s a hungover old drunk most of the time.

I had one of those. If I aimed at your left elbow, I would hit you in the chest every time. Somehow I let that one get away.

    with practice ...

there is a video on you tube of Jerry M couple hundred yards with a short barrel pistol hitting but it may have taken a few practice shots for windage and elevation I found it

200 yard snub nose revolver shot- upside down, one handed, with pinky finger

Jerry Miculek makes a seemingly impossible shot at 200 yards with a snub nose, J-frame, Smith & Wesson 340 PD revolver.
