Probably the same result had it been a .22 short.

A buddy of mine bought a Remington 870 "Turkey" in .410...The special heavy shot were ...$5.00 per round!!! Well before all this panic BS...

Both my son and daughter learned to shoot a shotgun with the .410 Wingmaster and could break clays out to 70 yards...

I hope no one mixes me up with you. "70 YARDS"? I don't know hoe the 2 was added but my screen name was Gruntled because I am retired & no longer a disgruntled mailman. I still have a Savage model 30f .410 I had bored out to skeet choke over 50 years ago. I used to love it when I could get someone to give me a handicap & bet their fancy high priced over/under could beat me. I bought a Mossberg 500 skeet .410 & quickly went back. Then the 1100 .410 & 28 set & still no better than my old beater. BUT 70 YARDS?

These boys have some broken measuring sticks. At that rate a decent 12 ga. would be a good 250 yard turkey gun.

I started out on an old H&R single shot 410.

I think it's a perfect chambering to teach kids.

It taught me to wait for a good shot, not just pump off rounds.

That's what I started out with as well.

I remember almost 60 years ago the old timers claimed the .410 was an expert's gun. I found you also had to be close.

I shot my first deer with a Mossberg pump 410. Using slugs turned that ole gun into a very versatile game getter!

About a month ago I was going through all of my stored away ammo. Found several boxes of those 410 slugs. Not so much loaded in shot unfortunately.

I never knew the 410 was such a killer.

I think I will name mine "Ol Poison slinger"

Beautiful Shotgun Ricci. .410's seem to bring a premium around here.

Ken that is because a .410 will just about kill anything from a dragon fly to a cape buffalo.
