.224 5.56 bullets for reloading?? How to figure out what they are?

    I would think that 54.5 grains is well within the +/- tolerance for a 55 grain bullet

    I loaded up 20 this evening while loading some 55 sierra FMJBT. 25.4 grains of 748. I will post my results after if anyone is interested, or not lol

    That's excellent consistency for that type bullet. I've seen "off brand" FMJ bullets vary by 2-2.5 grains and the nose shape/length vary enough to be noticeable.
