I don't consider myself a gentleman but I do all those things except send letters, but then I don't send text messages either.

A "gentleman" would NEVER admit that, even if it's probably true.😉
I have to take exception with a couple of these "requirements", and add one glaring omission.
Well groomed, and impeccable taste are pretty subjective. Humility should be at the top of the list because a gentleman doesn't crave, or even want recognition, for doing the things that make him a gentleman.

Well Groomed = I have lived my entire life in blue jeans, well since about 10 years old. So to me - jeans and a flannel shirt are just fine ! 😎
