What email program are you using? I tried it in Outlook and I just do Attach / Browse this computer / (find the file) / (click the file) / click "Open" ... and it attaches it.

Alternatively, find it in Windows Explorer (you are using Windows?) and right click the XLS file. Select Share... and it should pop up the ways it knows to share a file. In there should be a method to create an email and attach the XLS to it.

You should be able to attach it in its native xls file format just as Nanuq907 says, if you are worried that the receiver of the email won't be able to read it (they don't have any xls tools) then you can open it and print it to one of many downloadable pdf converter programs, no need to actually print it on paper and then scan to save as a pdf... just google "xls to pdf converter" and download one of the free utilities.

It depends entirely on the email system you use, but if you have say Outlook or some other windows based email program set up on your computer, you can send it using commands within Excel. Click File -> Share -> And then under "Attach a copy instead" click on the "Excel Workbook" Icon.

In oulook you can drag and drop the file to the body of the email and it will attach.

Thanks for the replies guys. I knew there had to be an easier way than print, scan, save to a file, and attach.
