Just had a really pretty .375 H&H Magnum rifle handed to me to list. A Mark X Mauser with sweet wood, express sights, and a scope. Should make a good leaf gun.

I have read in the past that the .375 H&H is accurate and will stop most things that need shooting. I have also read that it can be down loaded and used for smaller game.

As accurate as a 30-06. The pros/cons, load up/load down of these two cartridges have been debated on these pages Ad nauseam, with 27 eight-by-ten color glossy photographs With circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one

Nice rifle and a great cartridge. If I lived in a place where large dangerous animals roamed it would be my goto gun. The 375 H&H in a well fitting rifle is not too hard on the shoulder, the rifles are light enough to be carried easily and with the right ammo will bring down just about anything that walks or crawls on planet earth as long as you put the pill in the right place.
