An ex-employee of mine that I have remained friends with is in very bad shape. He appears to have acute liver failure, regardless of the fact he was a very low key drinker. To make things worse, he just tested positive for COVID in the hospital, and is being move to the quarantine floor.
Nobody seems to be able to figure out what is going on right now, but things don't look good at all. He has started with the blood clot issue that goes along with COVID, and is on Heparin as well as many other meds.
He is a good guy (42), and has two young kids that can't even visit him, nor can the rest of his family. I have been speaking with him on and off all day, and can tell he is in bad shape and scared for his children's sake.
Prayers and good thoughts appreciated.

Many thanks once again for those that have kept him in their thoughts, and prayers. He passed on a little after 10am this morning with his family around him.
RIP my friend,.........at least there is no more pain for you now.
