If you can use air for frying, I can use oil for baking.

I don't doubt it. But let's call it what it is: it's convection baking.

We have an air fryer, but it's not an Emeril, I think it's from Costco. We have had it for almost two years, and we use it lots. Probably 2-3 times a week on average.

We have done, and all turned out well:

    Tater Tots/french fries

    Hamburgers

    Rib steak, and T-bones

    Chicken strips

    Salmon fillets

    Shrimp

    Stuffed mushrooms

    Prime rib

    Meat loaf

    Onion rings

    Reheated left over pizza

    Probably forgetting a few things.

The wings I made were better than most I have had out. They were crunchy like they were fried but not greasy.

It made really good bacon this morning. It has a dehydrator function and I am looking forward to doing some apples in it.

We make at least 50 per cent of our meals with ours. No oil no mess.

Just recently finished a complete remodel of my kitchen. Installed a Samsung oven that has the air fryer built in. Have not used it yet.

I am going to rotisserie a chicken and cook some taters and carrots in it this afternoon. I hope we don't loose power because I hate going out to start the generator.

I had to check out your Emiril Fryer online Sam and it sounds like a great appliance at a good price at Kohls. I was going to order one and then decided to make a trip to town and pay them a visit in a couple days. I enjoy fried chicken wings a lot and having to use my 3\4 gallon of grease fryer that stinks up the house for days isn't worth the trouble. Don't think I have used the thing in over a year. Been doing my wings in the conventional oven and they just don't quite get that crispy at all.

Thank your wife for the heads up on the deal Kohl's is running!

Brookwood glad to help out and I will pass on an attagirl to her.

I like wings and fish and using a fryer in the house is a NOGO for me. I usually fry outside but man its cold and rainy here in the winter and hot and humid is the summer. I hope we get good use out of the air fryer.

The trick with the wing is to cook them with out seasoning and then season them when the are done. They are crisp without being greasy and there isn't much of a mess.

The rotisserie chicken came out fantastic! Better than any rotisserie chicken I have gotten at a grocery store or costco. I followed the direction in the cook book and it was fantastic!

One trick I learned is to put a little water in the drip pan to keep it from smoking.

The wife is cooking some vegiees and we will be eating good tonight.

Don't know how to copy and past to the site, good thing I guess.

Saw a meme where the family and friends have gathered around the casket at the grave site and ministers asks if anyone has anything to say, someone out of sight says " I've got an air fryer"๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Even those new fangled air frying stoves have gigantic fans to cook the food. However those stoves are very expensive. Food is not greasy..as in fried food..

Indeed they do. Wife buys the frozen pull out of the bag type biscuits.... 10 mins from frozen to the table and they are delicious.
