I reloaded at one time because my room mate got a Dillon 550.........we mostly did 9mm...........I am ignorant about casting. What caliber bullets would those moulds cast?

38 Special, 45 ACP, .41 magnum, .44 Special/Magnum.
Not sure what the .311” mold is for.

The .311 mold is a oversize 30 cal mold that is used for bores that are a bit large for caliber or 7.62 Russian rounds. Most guns shoot cast bullets sized to about .001 over bore diameter best. I size 9MM cast bullets to .356, 30 cal. to .309 but still size 45ACP's to .452.
I have several LEE molds. They work well IF YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS on their use and care. I did get one that was way out of alignment from the factory casting oval bullets. Rather than paying to ship it back for replacement I just threw it out, shipping costing more than a new one. I love the six cavity molds for producing large amounts of bullets fast. The two cavity molds are excellent for small runs like the 8MM Mauser bullets.

I use Lee moulds exclusively. Their own design Roundnose Flatpoint (RNFP) pistol bullets are superb. I also use their Liquid Alox lube and push-through sizers. Simple and quite effective.
