    interesting

    but a tin foil hat moment what if the top billion airs ( trillion airs now ) even all the left democrats pooled there cash and truly decided to go anti gun they could buy for the most part all ammo company's and gun company's and close the doors tomorrow write off as a tax loss and move on

    If anyone is interested, here is the full press release;

    AMMO, Inc. Executes Letter of Intent to Acquire GunBroker.com
    Press release content from Globe Newswire. The AP news staff was not involved in its creation.

    I hope they still have room to host and support our little corner of the universe. Bob

    That's fine, so long as Nunn and I don't have to give up our chauffeured limousines.

    Pretty inflated comment for an Uber ride isn't it Mark?

    I suspect the profits from auctions on GB are very good and well into the big numbers. It makes sense for the current owners to cash out while the cashing out is good.

    I suspect this will mean great things to come. Business has to be booming currently, so it's a good time to be selling.

    Maybe the buyers have some puter programmers who know what they are doing.

    There is a time to buy and a time to sell....the numbers must work for both sides right now.....

    Their payroll will increase by one if they rehire the current support department.

    A letter of intent means nothing, a post card stating a desire to buy your business could be considered a letter of intent. It does draw public interest in both businesses which may be the soul purpose of this news release. I don't just see it happening between these 2 companies but it very well could happen, who knows these days ?? .... the Sears / K-Mart venture made more sense than this one and we know where both of those wound up.

    Timing in life is everything. In the political world it is already known that online sales of ammo and firearms wants to come to an end. Money again is going to talk to possible get that done. Those millions of dollars for acquisition is nothing . Two birds with one stone.. Ammo and the largest online company going down. Just my take I pray I am wrong but my gut is thinking differently.

    I am sure there will be some changes. I am a pretty big fan of GB auctions but there is room for improvement.

    lets see... G/B has estimated $60,000,000.00 gross income per year.. offer from AMMO to buy G/B is $240,000,000.00

    somebody's gonna take a nice vacation with that much money to split up.

    I am sure that if the sale goes through the forums will get a big upgrade, with more badges awarded to make us feel warm and fuzzy and very important , the mods will get a great raise with benefits, and the G/B auction side will be flooded with new hires to help with the huge backlog of questions and problem solving needs that seem to be taking ages to answer and fix.

    All will be well as a new age is entered . All will be well as a new age is entered. all will be well as a new age is entered............ ...........................................................................................................
