For a different story, my Mother who is almost 80 got the Moderna shot 2 weeks and 2 days ago at a Publix appointment I got her. She had a mild sore spot on her arm for a day, but absolutely nothing else. No side effects whatsoever.

She gets number 2 on 2/26, and has zero trepidations. Believe it or not she hasn't turned into a zombie or a werewolf yet either.🤣

I do know a couple of folks that have received the Pfizer vaccine, and have complained of the worst headaches known to man. Who knows,....everyone is different, as is their pain tolerance level.

Both Judy and I had slightly sore arms for about a day from the first shot of the Moderna vaccine. She got hers about 2 weeks before I did and had her second shot last week. She had a small fever for about 12 hours but strangely no arm soreness this time. I get my second shot Thursday and I hope I have a similar experience. Marc is right, everyone is different and can have different reactions to the vaccine. Hope your discomfort abates quickly. Bob

Not sure what the OP got; Pfizer requires minimum 3 weeks between shots, Moderna requires 4 weeks.

I got the Pfizer. Pain at site of injection was bad for 24 hours, but no other symptoms.

My 83 year old mom got her second shot, she was very sore at the injection site and had pretty bad aches and pains from head to toe.

I may wait until the single does shot is available before I roll up my sleeve.

Yep,.....Moderna is what Publix is giving, and it's 28 days between injections, or jabs as the current lingo that I hate goes.😝

I'm sure it will be J&J by the time they get around to me, but I would happily take the Moderna version as well. To each their own of course.

Did you get a cup of KoolAide with the injection and if so, what color was it?
