I can't imagine this loader ever getting stuck ... still on ice, it's a different story.
BTW you can't find these at AutoZone ! 😆 ... need a crane just to lift them

Chains for snow or ice don't look anything like that, at least for a tractor. Ours had a chain ring with the chains making an X out of the ring. They dug through even hard packed snow or ice. Those are for tire protection.

I say for slippery surfaces.
Solid or foam filled tires don't pay much attention to sharp objects.

most likely a Tyvek throw away pair . even his hard hat looks brand new .

Both of the big JD tractors get chains when winter comes. Putting chains on isn't difficult or strenuous if you know how.
