Susie, Thinking about you.
Driving through Town yesterday.
Sign said, "Free Goats."
If I had a well fenced in area on my property, they would have been mine.

You can say that again Ken! π

Sorry Brookwood. I think twice as hard about Goats.
Apparently.

No sweat Ken, I understand your puter troubles living out in the boonies. I feel fortunate that my satellite connection works OK but I do have to bang on the dish with my roof rake quite often during the winter months.

Goats are pretty pricey around here.
Free would make yourself a good dinner ifn you were able to butcher one.

Years ago, my wife and I raised a billy goat from a kid to adulthood. He did a good job keeping the scrub down in a swampy area of our old place. That ole boy sure loved to eat weeping willow!
Anyway, I mentioned he was an unfixed billy and boy he was a real stinker. Smelly wise that is. We ran a mom & pop retail greenhouse business and were ready to find a new home for our "Billy" and one day had a customer who took an interest. The guy came in a station wagon along with his 5 children. Saw the Free Goat sign and asked to meet ole Billy.
The intro went very well and he said he would take the goat right now as he lived a good 5o miles away. Loaded up that smelly beast into the car packed with all those kids who by the way were dressed in their Sunday best!! π My wife and I watched in comical fashion as their car sped slowly away! We joked with each other for many years that our ole goat most likely added a willow flavor to that families table fare!

Dang, Ken, you could have thrown him in the truck and brought you a couple home. Would have had some brush cutters on the hoof.

I hate to say it Susie, but by Default, you have become "The Crazy Goat Lady" on GBGD. π€π
I know, the Truth can be painful sometimes. π€

Oh, that doesn't even touch the crazy around here. Lol. If that is all I will be known as then I have escaped fairly unscathed.
