I must be aging as well because I've never heard of either of them.

The country singer grew up about a 30 minute drive from me is the only way I know him.

Remember that song? The one that was so "cutting edge" that some stations would not play it? Yeah- THAT one.

When you hear it playing- and you are in the grocery store......

Since I have zero clue about the people you are talking about does this mean I am classy or old?? ๐Ÿ˜

I had no clue until I read the news story . Best I can tell the actress was canned for being conservative and having an opinion that the liberal scum disagreed with . Where is the ACLU in cases like this ?

The actor continued to say, โ€œBecause history is edited, most people today donโ€™t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?โ€

She sure spoke the truth .

Sadly, Its more of a sign freedom of speech is no longer an American value and we are on a fast pace towards socialism.

Wrong Cheifr my friend. The notion that you can legislate correct forms of speech is pure Fascism, not socialism. It comes straight from Hitler's play book. Whatever the state of today's government the people who rioted in the Capital were not looking to restore the republic to democracy, they were looking to restore it to themselves and those who looked and thought like them. That is also Fascism.

UMMmm.... the people who rioted WERE looking to take over. The VAST majority of the over 100,000 patriots were there to peacefully protest. The ones who initiated the "riot" were the same ones who were involved in all the other real riots over the past few months. I agree there were a lot of ignorant patriots who followed them in, but there were 10s of thousands who never entered a closed area. THOSE are patriots, no questions asked. Now we could debate who started the mess, and who was ignorantly swept up into the mess. You CANNOT however, paint all 100,000+ with the same broad brush, shame on you.

I think you misinterpreted my point, but when it comes to expressing your opinions publically in a state controlled by fascists, socialists, and especially communists there will be repercussions if such verbiage questions, disparages, or runs counter to the views of governing powers. Such is not supposed to be the case in our free republic

One cant deny opposition or conservative viewpoints are being censured, suppressed, and silenced.

Nor should one ever. My point was communists, socialists, and fascists are all the enemy, but we already have socialism (get Social Security?) and it is not going away. Communism and fascism should go forever.
