Now a praise thread!!!!! TxLawDog in cath procedure right now. Prayers please.

Just got a call no one wants to get. My little brother, goes by bubanator1 on here, has had a heart attack and was unresponsive for a time. His wife and her family are in cath waiting right now. Would appreciate prayers.


Just an update. He is still sedated, being kept cold to minimize brain damage. Critical but stable. 2 stints and a pump. Cath went well,found full block on right, 60% on left. They should start warming him about 0100 here, can take several days to get to where next steps can be performed. I realized I may have had his screen name wrong on here. Thanks all for the prayers. Not the way we want to make the news.

Just got off the phone with the nurse at medical city in dfw. Tim arrived about 0100, and they started their work. Hooked him up to the whatever machine it is, and took him off some of the major meds he was on. TIM ACTUALLY WOKE UP A BIT AND RESPONDED PROPERLY TO COMMANDS AS WELL AS SHAKING HEADD INDICATING YES OR NO! He was told the situation and the nurse said he seemed to understand by squeezes, etc. He is still not out of the woods, still has the breathing tubes so no speaking yet, but this is so much better than just 12 hours ago. Thank you everyone for the prayers, and THANKS BE TO GOD FOR THIS MIRICALE!

I just told Tina before posting this having hard time telling due to crying etc. They will be headed that way shortly. Please pray for traveling safety as well.

    Guys sorry I had his name wrong. Been a bit crazy. They have kept him cold for a while to minimize any neurological damage, and started the warming process about 1230 this morning, that will take 15 to 20 hours. Then they take him off all the paralyzing medications. After that they will know how to proceed from there. They have been pumping him full of various drugs and other IV stuff, and when I asked if he was passing enough the nurse replied he is pissing like a race horse, which is great shows his organs are working very well. Hopefully they will let him wake up sometime tomorrow they said. It's been a waiting game. And this heart attack happened on his 49th birthday. We spent Sunday at the local gunshow here, I sharpened knives and traded my gun junk, and he didnt have any complaints of any health issues. He works out all the time, even going to one of those boot camp things with trainer and stuff. Still had 100% blockage on right, some on left too that will need attention eventually. Please pray for his wife as well, she has ovarian cancer, monday found out the last chemo did not work and she will be going through a new chemo soon.
