Steer clear of any holster or holster maker that mixes kydex with leather. It's just a problem waiting to happen.

Asop. I am just about to pull the trigger on a PHLster pro series for the same gun. I like their classic too, but it's currently unavailable.

Take a look at a JM4 tactical. Interesting magnets used to hold gun in as well as clip over belt or in the door pocket of car.

Let me know what you end up with. I have two. The wife uses her concealed carry pocketbook and I have a concealed carry tee shirt. I’ve been looking for something else so let me know.

Alessi makes a great holster. It is what most FBI and Plain clothes cops carry or want. But be advised they do need a break in because they are tight at the get go.

Be advised they don't make them any more I think he was bought out or died. You can find them though and the guy who took over is Ritchie leather company.

I have 2 of Andrews Leather McDainels II holsters. They are one of the best but getting them is tough. You will have to jump through some hoops and talk to the guy but he is a great guy.

I have had, zero troubles, with the, almost dozens, that I made for all my pistols. They arent too pretty but really work. I think they are around ten yrs old, when I started. No looseness,no scratching guns. No falling down when hung, upside down, underarm, on those models

Define zero troubles. The materials wear at a different rate: fact. That is a problem.

I don't follow you. Zero trouble would be, no wear on the guns, that I ever noticed. The plastic doesnt wear or open up and make the firearm looser, and no plastic cracking. I don't even use the thick kydex/type plastic. Mine are tough to take off easily though. They are mounted on two leather straps and no snaps, out of habit, I guess.

Never, Nylon isn't leather, and leather isn’t Nylon. Only the real deal, dead animal type of material is used...😏

I must agree, I only use REAL leather holsters myself. I wish I could afford a handmade one but alas, I am only a farmer. Don

I did a few upgrades to my shop this last fall. Added a Cobra Class 4 leather sewing machine, and a compact Laser Engraver. Saves a lot of time, and wear & tear on my hands.

This guy makes a great holster. I have several IWB holsters from him and I must say they are great. The only IWB holster that is better IMO is Alessi and he is out of business.

I know you want an OWB holster as he makes them too. He is a real gentleman to talk to on the phone. I wanted a Holster for a Detonics Combatmaster and sent him the money. He worked on it for a few months and called me on the phone. He told me he could not make it work and was sending my money back, which he did. Great guy.

The only problem is you are going to have to call him and send him a check. I don't think he does business over the internet.

BTW he made the holsters for the new Magnificent 7 movie and I believe the Hateful 8 also.

Don, you might be surprised at what one would cost. My shop started as a hobby, and I try and not stray too far from that aspect. I started by making inexpensive rigs for SASS members in Cowboy Action events. Several friends around GB got me into making IWB holsters. I now have a web site also, message me and we can talk about what you need, and I can give you a pretty fair price. I’m not in this too get rich, just to pay for my habits...πŸ˜‰

Goggle (https://trinityscrimshaw.wixsite.com/leather) and check it out.
