My Eye work was almost a non-event in terms of comparison to almost any other Medical work I've had done. Not too bad at all. Cataract work, Lens replacements, etc.

You (having gone through a Hip replacement) will not have any problems with this at all hillbille.

While it sucks, you will be amazed at the difference once done. Hang tough Brother.

Sorry to hear it Billie, and best wishes for a good outcome. I had a Dr. appointment back in Oct. and he asked If I had ever smoked even 10 packs of smokes in my life. I said I had smoked twice that some finals weeks at the university. He said let's schedule you for an ultrasound. I said it sounded like fun, but I was curious why. He said that men of a certain age, (I forget exactly what that age was, 50's I think, but I was way qualified on that count) have a high risk for abdominal aorta aneurysms. So, the stars aligned and a few days later, off I went to have a nice lady rub jel and an ultra sound wand on my nethers. Next think I knew I was scheduled for an MRI in a few days and just before Thanksgiving had surgery. Besides minor excitement when I got to see an arterial bleed, all went well and I went deer hunting a week later.

This has been a cautionary tale, if you are an old fart with cigarettes in your past, talk with your doctor. There are too many new guys here and we need to keep some of the old ones.
