I learned more on this site than I ever knew was possible. I hope you read it from top to bottom. The last paragraph is very eye opening. Don't cheat, read the whole thing and enjoy.

    I wish I could understand more about the stock market

    all I have seen is that 401K's usually get bigger through the years if left in the market

    I just watched a film about the lying that the Chinese company's do to make them seem worth more than they really are.

    There are 100's of Chinese company's trading on the U.S. stock exchange that are worth a lot less than what they are advertised as. (Got on the SE thru back door mergers with almost bankrupt US companies)

    Apparently is is not a crime in China to lie about a company's worth to outsiders.
