    I sang the praises if Hi-Point way back in the day on these forums and got nothing but flack. I still contend that there is a lot to be said for a pistol that is extremely inexpensive, is reliable, and has a lifetime warranty.

    My little .380 cost me $60 used, never once jammed, and was very accurate for thousands of rounds. I had one minor issue with a magazine....and they mailed me THREE brand new ones for free. Can't ask for much more than that.

    I always thought they were ugly as sin, weighed a ton and were cheaply made. Would tell folks if you run out of bullets they were heavy enough to beat a person to death.
