You could always try it but guessing you might be better off with a local online classified ad.

Worth a go I guess, but I don't think I would do a penny start, considering the offering.

Careful, based on a recent post, Ricci is just itching to do a "Cousin Eddie," re-creation. (A'la Vacation.)

Giving him an RV would be all the impetus (that means motivation Ricci) he would need in order to visit various unsuspecting GBGD Members.

    Don't Do It!!

susie posted; .........................Campers appear to be at a premium at the moment much the same as firearms, which is weird as there are plenty on the lots that I pass in my travels........................

I understand that some people are using them for work at home office space. I would think a "Toy Hauler" trailer could be used as a isolation ward for a COVID patient. I was in the market for a Toy Hauler (got one) and regular in the market for sheds, trailers and cargo containers. I watch from Sierra Vista AZ to San Diego Ca. All have increased in price. Plenty of cargo Containers but very much less sheds and trailers. I asked the owner of a trailer store Are you closing down???? he replied "I sold them all".

I wonder where all the Katrina Hurricane relief trailers went. They could be used to house excess Covid patients.

Maybe you should tell them to list it on gunbroker.

Don't mean to criticize. But I've owned both campers and trailers over the years. From your description, what you have are trailers. Campers usually are fitted into the bed of a pick-up. Likely would be easier and quicker to sell. If folks understood exactly what you were selling.

Lol. I stand corrected. Thank you for pointing this out. Around these parts we pull our campers to the deer woods and haul our 4-wheelers on trailers. Its a redneck thing I guess. Travel trailers are what I have.

Would note this though from Merriam Webster:

    camp·er | \ ˈkam-pər  \

    Definition of camper

    1

    one who camps

    2

a portable dwelling (such as a specially equipped trailer or automotive vehicle) for use during casual travel and camping

I sold my motorhome a couple years ago. Living out in the boonies with not much drive by traffic I decided to take it to a dealer and sold it on consignment. I was very happy not having to deal with the tire kicking public and got a good price for the rig.

if you can find an area where there is pipeline work and or fracking/drilling going on, camping trailers will sell at a premium........

One of my co-workers sold a camper last year. He put his on C-list and it didn't take long to sell, but he did have a couple no shows that frustrated him. I'm not a fan of that particular venue for selling things, but it might help to put it on as many outlets as you can for TOP dollar just to see if someone snaps it up for more money than you ever hoped to get. You can always go down in asking price.

Checked with the dealer near here that is on the major highway between Arkansas and Missouri. He will sell them for me on consignment. No dealing with the tire kickers. Thanks for the input folks. I didn't want to have to deal with phone calls, stupid questions and lookie-loo's.
