Big Momma
I know I'm going to get some flack from most of you...so be it.
I've been trying to hand-feed the deer in our neighborhood for over 4 years! I guess Big Momma couldn't resist freshly sliced apple! She's eating for at least 3....

got to have a hobby . ( capt obvious be careful they can do a lot of damage to you )
with that said I would wager if my wife had any with in range she would do her best to do the same trying to feed them
not quit the same but almost like leaving piles of corn to hunt over .
I had a farmer friend who use to brag about getting a dear every year then he told me his story's
it was on his land of course he has a old camper trailer set up with a heater and coffee pot cot well you get the idea with a shooting port permanently sitting in the same spot for years and piled up food for them about 50 feet away all year long in the line of fire. to me sorta like shooting fish in a barrel .

Moose always suck down apples this time of year, but it's deadly to them. Their digestive system changes from summer to winter, so in the winter it's fine tuned to live off alder tips and other woody plants. They'll still eat an apple or pumpkin if you offer one, but it will sit in their stomach and they won't be able to digest it, and they can die with a full stomach.

Growing up I lived across the road from a fenced in bird and game sanctuary. While out waiting for the school bus each morning I would feed the large 8 point buck (we named Bucky) my PBJ sandwich from my lunch pail. Hand fed through the chain link fence.

Same for mule deer, too?

Neighbor lady had a whitetail doe that would come up on her deck and wait for her to handfeed a piece of bread.
