Been a shocking weekend so far.

Our friend Nancy (wife's classmate and lifelong friend), who was a bridesmaid in our wedding, is in the care of hospice fighting brain cancer, she is not expected to make it through the weekend. Nancy is 53

Another classmate and dear friend Lin, who's brother Pat has been fighting "the virus", passed away this morning from an uncontrollable infection that developed from his bed sores. Pat was 55

Several hours ago my FIL calls to tell us that Jonnie Ray, my wife's cousin, has suffered a heart attack and passed away this morning. Jonnie and his younger brother were both in our wedding, Jonnie as an usher, and little David as the ring bearer. Jonnie was 42

We are both absolutely stunned, and just kind of zombies right now. Unbelievable.

    Sorry for your losses. We went to 4 funerals for friends and family in three weeks in July-August. Thankfully none of them due to the Chinese Virus.

    My wife's aunt and uncle are flying in tonight from Arizona to take care of Johnnies personal things, and they will be staying with us for a week-ish. One positive out if this wreck, as we haven't seen them in a couple years.

    There will not be any traditional funeral services for anyone, virtual service only. Strange days we are living in.
